A truly divine place to spend some days relaxing by the Pacific, right on the beach, and oh, what a beach! Lovely comfortable rooms, super comfortable, with nice modern bathrooms, and little extras like some mezcal, and good coffee making facilities, in your room. Wonderful helpful owner and reception staff, very willing to advise on and organise visits, taxis, restaurants etc. Lovely on site restaurant for breakfasts, lunches, snacks and drinks. Really couldn't ask for more. A little piece of heaven on earth!
Great location right on the beach, clean and well kept rooms, but the best part is the staff! Waldo’s drinks and smoothies delivered with big smiles and great conversation, Sara’s dishes prepared with love and beauty, and Manu (owner) always welcoming and willing to make you feel at home. It was my birthday and they went out of their day to bring me a cake and candles and sing Las Mañanitas for me. Such a moving gesture! Thank you guys! We will definitely return!
Casa Bagus is the most incredible place to stay! If you’re searching for the best accommodation to stay on the Oaxacan coast, you can stop looking, you’ve found it! Book now, you won’t regret it! We stayed 5 nights in room 1, walking out our front door directly onto the beach. It was incredible. All the staff are absolutely fabulous, friendly, helpful and very welcoming. If we could stay here forever we would. The restaurant has the most amazing food. Everything is so delicious. If I could give more than 5 ⭐ I would because it deserves Thank you everyone for an incredible stay and giving us memories that will last forever

What an enchanting little place! Rustic beauty is how I would describe it. While it's not really fancy, it's well done and very comfortable. The 6 rooms are surprisingly large. Literally, right on the beach. Each room has two reserved lounge chairs and an umbrella. The staff is very gracious and helpful and the food is tasty (the restaurant is closed on Thursdays). If Waldo is waiting tables, you're in for a treat.
CANADIANS YOU NEED TO STAY HERE! This is a unique experience so please take the 60 seconds to read on…. Super friendly people…big shout out to Manon and Gabby for being wonderful hosts. Very quiet place. Location is perfect for beach, swimming, restaurants, relaxing, etc. Beach is quiet, no dance parties at night, all types of people both young and old, locals and tourists. But never feeling crowded. Water has areas that were swimmable all day. Meanwhile a short walk brought you to surfers hitting bigger waves. Rooms were very nice, AC worked perfect, cleaned excellent. They very much treat you like family. It really feels like they care for you to have a perfect vacation. You have your own umbrella and loungers so no getting up at 5:00 am like at a resort so that you can fight for a spot on the beach. The area has excellent restaurants. Both food quality and presentation are top notch without the top price like back in Canada. The area feel safe to walk around at night but be prepared fo narrow streets and sidewalks. Feels like you actually in Mexico versus a heavy tourist area like Cancun or PV. It’s about 1 hour and 20 minutes from airport. Taxis go back and forth so easy to get to and from. Hotel staff can help arrange as well so don’t let that deter you. This is a great way to break away from the big resorts and feel like you are visiting the wonderful country and people of Mexico.
We stayed at Casa Bagas for a week and LOVED it! Nice, small, quaint place to stay right on the beach. The rooms were very clean and perfect size! The service was super friendly and helpful. The location was super convenient to walk to markets and eating establishments. Thank you, Manun, for your spectacular hospitality!
Amazing staff, all were attentive to any need. Manon goes above and beyond to help with anything! Love the lobby/restaurant area, feels like a living room. Perfect location on the beach with each room having their own private lounge chaises .
